Vancouver-based event planner Aly Armstrong gets inspired by Pantone’s hot new hue, Riverside blue, to create this ethereal West Coast wedding aesthetic

Shot on location at Aberthau Mansion, Vancouver
Aly Armstrong was inspired by Pantone’s fall 2016 colour Riverside for this enchanted garden shoot. The European-style Aberthau Mansion “is a hidden gem,” says Aly, “a French chateau with stone walls and lush trees by the ocean.”
A hand-dyed riverside table runner set the backdrop for the decor. For a hint of the West Coast, place cards were written on shells. The watercolour stationery suite by Maurelle Calligraphy & Design was inspired by the shell placeholders.
Cake by Annie accented a two-tiered blue cake with gold foil and flowers.
Centrepieces by The Flower Factory captured a loose but put-together aesthetic with pale pink dahlias, peach Juliet garden roses, marsala-hued amaranthus, feathery pampas grass and blue hydrangea.
The Chloe gown by Rue de Seine is available at Union Bridal and the Rivington veil is available at Truvelle.
The bride wears a lace-trimmed Cordova gown from Truvelle. Her Allee headpiece and Broca belt are by Olivia the Wolf. Olive Leaf cuff and pendant by Paloma Picasso are available at Tiffany & Co. Fresh makeup and tousled waves by Melanie Neufeld complete the Grecian look.
