They originally considered getting married in Las Vegas, but found Sin City's chapels too kitschy for their taste. Instead, they chose to find their own space in Vancouver and create their '50s wedding theme on their own terms.

The Dress
Stephanie donned a white Romona Keveza strapless gown of silk shantung taffeta, from I Do Bridal.
An Artistic Venue
The sandwich board, painted by Kevin’s sister, Shannan was placed outside the Gallery with some helium.
3D Fun
The 100 guests donned 3D glasses for a spectacular slideshow created by Vancouverbased Blue Olive Photography. The 3D glasses also served as memento of the day.
The Guestbook
Stephanie and Kevin made and bound a guestbook with a crocodile skin cover and Polaroid pictures on every third page.
His Shoes
Kevin wore white crocodile shoes by Donald J. Pliner.
Her Party Dress
At the reception, Stephanie wore a ’50s-style swing dress, handmade by her friend Thena Van Beek. The brooch in the centre bust was another vintage find.
The Treats
Cupcakes, supplanting a wedding cake, were by Kreation Bakery (chocolate with raspberry cream and vanilla with passion fruit cream). Cupcake stands were made by Kevin and his dad with old vinyl records, and touched up with ’50s porcelain animals.
His Suit
Kevin wore a navy, purple-pinstriped Paul Smith suit.
