Romance and whimsy rule at a styled shoot in the Fraser Valley
PHOTOGRAPHY BY WHITE ALBUM WEDDINGS
Tucked in the heart of the Fraser Valley, the soft, dreamy light and mossy flagstone floors at The Secret Garden inspired this simple collaboration between florist and stylist Deborah Lee (Deborah Lee Designs), hair and makeup artist Felicia Bromba (Vanmobile Makeup) and photographer Elizabeth Kowal, White Album Weddings.
An overall feeling of old world romance is showcased, with a lightness and an added touch of whimsy. Deborah Lee Designs created stunning florals, with an overflowing arrangement of roses and soft pastel flowers, an ornate mirror and a trio of candelabras. A cream upholstered chair and other styling details look just as pretty on mossy rocks or grassy fields.
Model and muse Kristen wore each of three different looks; a two-piece sassy ensemble and two separate gowns with long flowing “wings” and detailing, creating an ethereal fairytale effect. Make-up and hair artist Felicia Bromba styled a romantic hairstyle with structured curls, then a tousled, free and breezy style, choosing makeup with whispers of warm pink hues that looked natural on fresh glowing skin.
