Photographer Jenzel Velo is inspired by summer to create an ethereal flower-child bridal look

"I was inspired by the sweetness of summer and the exotic plants that can be found blooming here in our very own backyard in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to create a bridal shoot to showcase a simple, elegant, yet ethereal look for the flower-child bride.

"I knew that I had to team up with incredible experts here in B.C.: Laudae, who is known for environmentally friendly gowns; Foe & Dear who hand-makes jewellery from exotic materials; and Floralista who handpicks the freshest and most exquisite flowers from urban gardens and internationally renowned flower producers. We worked in a quiet and serene tropical greenhouse, far from the city roar to set the tone."
