Sparrow Photography and Memory Laine Events were inspired by the idea of a bridal ball for this pink and gold wedding shoot. They expanded on the theme bringing in beautiful masks, simple décor and sparkling gold accents.
Hart House Restaurant set the backdrop with classic wooden-framed doors and a view onto the country-style manicured grounds. Memory Laine Events styled the table with a glittering gold tablecloth, shining black chargers and pale pink and white accents from Champagne Dreams.
Studio Floretta carried the palette through with dessert table that included three cakes in various shades of pink, gold and black, along with some darling cupcakes. Black stationery with intricate white lettering by Stay Magical brought some understated elegance to the table setting.
Sparrow Photography was excited to work with a real couple for this shoot, and Stacey and Ian brought their passion to the set. "There is no way to mask the love for someone you care about deeply," says Vienna (of Sparrow Photography). "You can see through the mask always." She goes on to explain her mask concept for the shoot, saying that while couples will face many obstacles throughout their relationships, if you allow your masks to come off, you'll be able to fall in love and find happiness.
Stacey wore two gowns: the white strapless is from Pure Magnolia and the blush pink from Little Pink Dress. Her fresh and light makeup was by Kayla MacLean and her two hair looks by Candice Styles. All jewellery was provided by Olive & Piper.
