In an area of Gastown that’s quickly becoming the bridal hotspot in Vancouver, Samantha Hallaran wanted to give brides another option. She and her husband previously lived in San Francisco, where Samantha worked in a trendy, Parisian-style bridal boutique for two years. In 2016, she decided to move her expertise to the Vancouver market, with a goal to carry a contemporary collection of international designers at her new boutique.

The studio at 309 West Cordova Street maintains original wood flooring, red brick masonry and details, with 20-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light; a beautiful setting in which to find your gown.

Rituals of Love is by appointment only and offers a collection of gowns ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 in price.

& For Love: A modern bridal and ceremonial brand inspired by real life and real love, & For Love creates gowns, separates and jumpsuits for a new type of bride—a woman who believes it’s okay to break the rules and knows that looking like a “bride” means wearing a killer outfit and feeling amazing. Designer and creative director Angel Spendlove has a boho-meets-modern style that’s light and airy, and all about movement.
