For Colleen Ha and Eric Tang, their summertime wedding at Rowena’s Inn on the River in Harrison Hot Springs felt like a fairy tale — starting from the moment they laid eyes on each other that day at their sunny outdoor ceremony before a heart-shaped arch.

“We shared our special moment when I took my first step on the aisle and Eric looked at me like we were in a million-dollar hall and I was wearing a million-dollar dress,” says Colleen. “The sky could have been falling all around us and it wouldn’t have mattered and we wouldn’t have noticed.”

In that instant, the two say, they both knew they were sharing the best day of their lives, in front of all their closest family and friends. “Rarely, will you ever get such a group together in one place to simply celebrate and have fun.”

Neither will ever forget (nor will their guests) the moment when Eric suddenly pulled his cellphone from his pocket and snapped a selfie at the altar, right after they had exchanged vows. “This reminds me why I married this quirky man and I could not be happier ever since,” says Colleen.
