Imagine yourself on the night before your wedding... How will you spend your last evening before you say “I do”? That was the inspiration behind this glamorous styled photo shoot by Vancouver’s Konstantin Photography.
Konstantin found a match for his dramatic photography style in Yaletown’s OPUS Hotel, a popular spot for brides or grooms to get ready before their wedding. The award-winning boutique hotel is known for its colourful art and stylish room designs, each based on a fictional muse. For his shoot, Konstantin chose an executive suite based on “Susan,” the fictional fashion executive with sophisticated and contemporary tastes.
Konstantin envisioned a bride and her groom-to-be heading out for one final night before their wedding downtown, lingering over a fabulous dinner in Yaletown before she heads back to her luxurious room at the OPUS. She sparkles in a black sequin evening gown from the Clara Couture custom-made collection, featuring a sexy mermaid silhouette, sweetheart neckline, low back and chapel-length train.
Though exhausted by all the wedding preparations, she can’t resist trying on her wedding dress one more time: a lovely fit-and-flare lace gown from the Mikaella fall 2015 collection at Clara Couture. The dress features a scalloped plunging front neckline and low open V-back, with a delicate beaded removable band at the waist and a chapel train with lace scalloped trim. Of course, she also needs to see how it all looks with her jewellery, to ensure she’s picture perfect. (And, of course, she is.)
The next morning, she awakens full of excitement for the big day ahead. Up early, she’s all set when the hotel Jaguar arrives to whisk her off to her wedding ceremony – and her happily ever after.
