At Real Weddings, we’re big fans of shopping local – and that includes shopping for your wedding gown. We met the talented Gaby Bayona, the young designer behind Vancouver’s Truvelle bridal gowns, at her Gastown studio last year. We were smitten by the effortless, modern style of her unique gowns – and we were delighted to get a sneak peek at her new 2016 collection, just released today.

Inspired by the beauty of winter, the 2016 gowns have moved away from the warm golden tones of past collections in favour of cool greys and milky ivory. While grey might sound a teensy bit dull, these dresses are a far cry from boring thanks to unusual details like steel-grey and ivory sequins, silver jacquard, double straps and eye-catching cuts.

Plus, the collection remains reasonably priced, ranging from $1,950 to $2,450. And every gown is made in Vancouver, for a truly local find. To view the collection in person, schedule a showroom appointment at 604-602-0498 or online.
