White Rock’s Carley and Greg chose a destination wedding not too far from home by heading to the sunny Okanagan. The two fell in love with the scenery at Cedar Creek Winery and the vintage chic wedding vibe that it allowed them to create.

A true DIY bride, Carley handmade every piece of décor for their big day. “I thrift-shopped, gathered and collected from everywhere possible,” she says. Among her finds were vintage doors, old barn windows and even a vintage alarm clock. For a meaningful personal touch, she also used a vintage charm with a photo of her late grandfather, who had been her best friend.

Altogether, the bride created a light, bright and airy atmosphere for their special day, with pops of soft pinks and classic grey.

Out-of-town friends gathered for an entire week of celebrations in Kelowna, where Carley says the vendors were “spectacular,” giving a special shout-out to Adrian Photography and videographers Limelight Studios for their incredible attention to detail.

“My most memorable moment had to be my first dance, which sounds so cliché but it was just amazing,” says Carley. “All in all it was the best day of my life and I wouldn’t replace it for the world.

“Can we rewind and replay?”
